Description:this Agreement Provides Funding in the Amount of $1,000,000 to Fort Pierce Utilities Authority, Florida to Implement Its Project to Construct a Force Main as Directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as Identified in an Approved Technical Correction If One Has Been Approved for This Project. Activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include the Execution and Implementation of a Wastewater Infrastructure Construction Project. Workplan Activities Consist of Constructing Approximately 900 Linear Feet of 24-INCH Force Main That Will Connect the Lift Station to an Existing Force Main. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include the Installation of New Force Mains That Are Configured for Bi-directional Flow to Avert Wastewater Away From the Indian River Lagoon and Toward a New Treatment Plant Inland Which Will Ensure That Up to 450,000 Gallons of Wastewater Per Day Is Conveyed Efficiently to the Mainland Water Reclamation Facility (MWRF). the Expected Outcomes Include the Improvement of Wastewater Flow Management, Support of Future Treatment Plant Operations, and the Upgrade of the System to Handle Anticipated Redirects in Wastewater Flows. the Intended Beneficiaries Include the Residents of Fort Pierce, Florida.
