This Eda Investment Will Leverage Coordinated and Collaborative Regional Workforce Development Strategies and Cooperation Between Public and Private Sectors to Support Inclusive Economic Recovery From the Coronavirus Pandemic. Larimer County Is Addressing the Local and Regional Unemployment and Underemployment by Developing Implementing a Regional Workforce Strategy Based on Sector Partnership to Help Employers to Develop and Retain Talent; Align Education and Workforce Resources With Industry Needs and the Local Talent Pool; and Address Structural Issues That Prevent a Secure Talent Pipeline. the Workforce Strategy Is Linked to Regional Economic Development Efforts to Create and Retain Jobs in Northern Colorado, Including Larimer and Weld Counties. This Project Will Build on Foundation Laid in Particular Industries While Pivoting Specific Activities to Focus on Economic Recovery and Additional Strategic Industries in the Region.
