This Eda Investment Supports the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe's Local and Regional Need for Broadband Infrastructure by Constructing a Middle Mile Fiber Network to Serve the Business Corridor Within the City of Towaoc, a Designated Opportunity Zone, and Surrounding Communities in Montezuma County, Colorado. Once Completed, the Project Will Support the Growth of Existing Businesses, Enhance Telemedicine Opportunities, and Increase Educational Opportunities, Which Will Support Workforce Development, Bolster Job Creation, Attract Private Investment, and Advance Economic Resiliency Throughout the Region.
