This Eda Amended Investment Funds the Construction of a New Aviation and Aerospace Workforce Academy at the Stennis International Airport in Hancock County, Mississippi, to Assist With Recovery From a Natural Disaster. the Project Will Establish a Modern Facility to Provide Educational Opportunities in Academic, Career Technical, and Workforce Programs, Which Will Help Develop an Ecosystem to Maintain a Steady Pipeline of Middle-skill Workers Capable of Supplying the Growing Aviation and Aerospace Landscape in the Area. Once Completed, the Project Will Help Create Resiliency Against Future Disasters, Strengthen the Regional Economy, and Attract Private Investment.
