Description:this Action Approves an Award in the Amount of $421,870 to the Chattanooga-hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau. This Agreement Provides Funding Under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) for the Expansion and Enhancement of Air Monitoring Activities. Specifically, the Recipient Will Integrate, Support, and Maintain Fence Line Air Monitoring, National Air Toxics Trend Stations, and Other Air Toxics and Community Monitoring.activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include the Purchase and Placement of Equipment, as Needed; Hiring an Air Monitoring Technician; Contracting a Third Party Quality Assurance Consultant to Review Data and Procedures; and the Deployment of Eight Additional Low-cost Air Monitoring Sensors Into the Existing Monitoring Network.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include a Quarterly Review of Air Monitoring Data, Analysis, and Objectives. the Expected Outcomes Include Replacing Equipment Capable of Air Monitoring and Data Generation Without Interruption. the Intended Beneficiaries Are Residents in and Around Chattanooga-hamilton County, Tennessee.
