Description:the Primary Objectives of This Project Include Administrative and Programmatic Capacity Development, Providing Community Outreach and Education, Improving Waste Management Through Collaboration With Partners, and Enhancing Climate Change Adaptation Planning and Emergency Response Program Development in Partnership With Other Organizations.activities:activities to Be Completed Include Staff Participation in Meetings, Workshops, and Webinars and Removing Solid Waste on Tribal Lands Like Lead Acid Batteries, Electronics, Scrap Metal, White Goods, Tires, and Vehicles. Community Outreach and Education Will Be Conducted Through Public Service Announcements Distributing Information to the Community, and Hosting School Presentations. Solid Waste Activities Include Conducting a Community Cleanup, Obtaining Staff Hazardous Materials Certifications, Maintaining a Re-use Area, and Preparing for and Conducting Backhaul. Other Activities Include Climate Change Adaptation Planning and Developing an Emergency Response Program.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:anticipated Deliverables Include Presentations, Handout Materials, a Cleanup Report, Certifications, an Updated Integrated Waste Management Plan, Backhaul Logs, Photos and Trip Reports. Expected Outcomes Are That by Building a Strong Foundation in Grants Management and Programmatic Work on Waste Management, Climate Change, and Emergency Response Preparedness and Tribal Members Will Help to Promote Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability. the Intended Beneficiaries Are the Cheesh'na Tribe Community Members.
