Provide Tribal Members With Handouts on How to Purify Home Air Quality and Educate Them on Air Pollution and Contaminants in Homes. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:increased the Capacity to Manage a Tribal Environmental Program. Clean and Protect River Water/riverbank and Beach to Sustain Tribe With Fish, Edible Plants and Animals That Live by or in the Newhalen River. Decrease Pollution of Air, Water, and Soil From Improper Disposal of Solid Waste at Landfill. Increase the Protection and Quality of Traditional Use Areas and Subsistence Resources From Pollutants. Increase Indoor and Outdoor Air Quality for Newhalen Through Education and Testing. Develop Rules to Control Landfill Burning by Burning Only Burnable Items in the Landfill Burn Box Instead of Plastic and Aluminum Cans. the Intended Beneficiaries of This Work Are the Newhalen Tribal Members.
