Description:the Primary Objectives of This Project Include Progressive Administrative and Programmatic Capacity Development Which Will Strengthen the Environmental Programs of the Consortium's Member Tribes, Aiding in the Protection of Tribal Resources Through Participation in Tribal, Federal, State, and Regional Water Quality and Water Rights Discussions Which Affect Water Quality on Tribal Lands, and Improving the Ability of Tribal Members to Respond to the Ongoing Effects of Climate Change Through Education, Public Outreach, and the Development of Planning Documents.activities:activities to Be Performed Under This Grant Include the Continued Execution of the Upper Snake River Tribes (USRT) Coordination, Inventory, and Assessment Plans for Its Member Tribes, Producing and Disseminating Education and Outreach Materials, Attending Meetings, Workshops, Conferences, and Rule-making Sessions Regarding Water Quality and Water Rights Issues, and Developing Tribal Climate Hazard Mitigation Plans, Among Other Activities.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:anticipated Deliverables and Expected Outcomes of This Grant Include, But Are Not Limited to, the Continued Development of Tribal Climate Hazard Mitigation Plans for Usrt Member Tribes Which Will Provide Information Typically Unavailable to Tribal Members on Climate Change Resiliency Efforts and Projects, Summary Reports of Plan Execution Successes and Shortcomings in Indian General Assistance Plan (GAP) Quarterly Grant Progress Reports, and Updated Usrt Fact Sheets. Direct Beneficiaries of This Grant Are Tribal Members of the Four Tribes Served by the Consortium.
