Description:this Agreement Provides Funding to Medford Irrigation District in Oregon to Implement Its Project to Develop Preliminary Engineering Designs and Complete Environmental Review and Permitting Requirement for Future Construction to Modernize the Joint System Canal as Directed in the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act.activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include Implementation of a Clean Water Infrastructure Project. Workplan Activities Consist of Preliminary Engineering and Design, Environmental Analysis and Permitting, Stakeholder Coordination and Outreach, and Project Management.subrecipient:under a Subaward, Farmers Conservation Alliance Will Assist With the Following Activities: Environmental Analysis and Permitting, Stakeholder Coordination and Outreach, Project Management, and Grant Assistance and Management. Outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include a Completed Preliminary Engineering Report, Potential National Environmental Policy Act Documentation Such as Archaeological Surveys and Reports, Communication and Outreach Materials, and Completed Grant Materials Such as Request for Proposals and Reports. This Project Is Expected to Lead to Preparation to Complete Construction (second Phase) to Modernize and Improve the Joint Canal System Which Will Provide Improved Stream Flow for Listed Species, Reduced Maintenance Costs and Provide Other Benefits to Irrigation District Users and the Broader Residents in the Rogue River Valley in Jackson County, Oregon.
