This Agreement Funds Tribal Continuing Environmental Programs for Clean Air Act, Indoor Radon and Multipurpose Grants to Tribes.activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include Implementation of Clean Air Act of Programs for the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution on the Nez Perce Reservation, Including Implementation of the Federal Air Rules for Reservations Federal Implementation Plan (farr Fip) Activities Within the Exterior Boundaries of the 1863 Nez Perce Reservation. to Do So, the Nez Perce Tribe Will Participate in Local, Regional, and National Air Quality Initiatives, Organizations, Meetings, Conferences, and Trainings That Contribute to Air Quality Improvement by Increasing the Capacity of the Tribe and the Tribe's Air Quality (AQ) Program to Effectively Address Air Quality Technical and Policy Concerns and Air Pollution Issues. Continue to Conduct Air Quality Monitoring and Emission Inventory Activities, Farr Implementation Activities, Farr Compliance Assistance and Monitoring as Well as to Complete Updates to the Nez Perce Tribe Farr Website and Burn Permit Database to Supporting Smoke Management and Burn Permit Program Administration Under the Nez Perce Tribe/epa Farr Delegation Agreement. the Tribe Will Also Work to Reduce Exposure to Radiation and Improve Indoor Air by Limiting Unnecessary Radiation Exposure to a Achieve a Healthier Indoor Air Quality, Especially for Vulnerable Populations. in Addition, the Tribe Will Engage With the Community to Support Implementation of Aq Programs That Prevent and Control Air Pollution by Promoting Awareness of Issues, Health Concerns, and Best Management Practices, and by Assessing Community Concerns About Air Quality and Opportunities for Solutions. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Are to Accurately Characterized Aq Within the Nez Perce Reservation and to Make Sure Its Condition and Threats Are Understood by the Tribe, Epa, and Others. the Deliverables Include Maintaining and Monitoring the Air Quality Network to Minimize Off-line Days, as Well as the Submission of Aq Data to Epa's Air Quality System. the Nez Perce Tribe Will Issue Burn Permits and Declare Burn Bands, as Appropriate. Other Deliverables Include Working With Epa to Successfully Implement the Delegation Agreement and the Inspector Credentials Agreement on the Nez Perce Reservation. Submission of an Annual Inspection Plan and Quarterly Inspection Reports to Epa Summarizing Complaints, Responses, Inspections, and Inspector Credentials-related Trainings Completed. a Report on the Number of Indoor Air Quality Assessments, and All Education and Outreach Conducted, Including the Number and Type of Outreach, Will Also Be Submitted. the Expected Outcomes Are to Protect Human Health and the Environment by Implementing Programs for the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution on the Nez Perce Reservation With the Goal of Overall Improved Air Quality Reflected by Reduced Particulate and Toxic Air Pollutant Levels and Reductions in Risks to Human Health From Air Pollution. the Tribes' Education, Outreach, and Technical Assistance Activities Will Result in a Contribution to Air Quality and Human Health Improvement by Changing Human Behavior, Thereby Protecting Human Health and the Environment. the Expected Outcome of the Nez Perce Tribe Farr Website Is a Robust, Reliable, Efficient, and Effective Website and Data Management System That Maintains Records, Data, and Information for Burn Permit Application and Issuance, Registration Fee Payments, Public and Burn Permittee Communication, Complaints, Inves
