Description:this Agreement Is to an Eligible State or Tribe to Implement a Program to Provide Drinking Water Program Assistance to Small, Underserved and Disadvantaged Communities. Funds Will Be Used to Carry Out Projects and Activities Needed for Public Water Systems to Comply With the Safe Drinking Water Act, Program to Provide Household Water Quality Testing, and Activities for a State to Respond to a Drinking Water Contaminant.activities:this Funding Will Be Used to Fund Several Important Projects. First, Swiss Home Village Will Use Approximately $100,000 to Complete Project to Switch From Their Surface Water Source to a Groundwater Source, Due to High Disinfection Byproducts. Second, London Water Co-op, Which Has Struggled With High Turbidity, Will Use Approximately $260,000 Dollars to Construct a New Surface Water Treatment Plant. Third, the City of Adrian Will Use About $20,000 to Pay for Technical Assistance to Help Them Optimize Their Arsenic Treatment System. Fourth, Garden Valley Water Association Occasionally Has High Turbidity MCL and Will Use This Funding to Pay for Treatment Plant Improvements and Monitoring Equipment. Subrecipient:grants Will Go to Small, Underserved and Disadvantaged Communities to Construct New or Rehab Existing Public Water System Infrastructure Projects.outcomes:all of These Systems Will Use This Funding to Install (or Optimize) Drinking Water Treatment Equipment. This Will Help Provide Safe Drinking Water to the Communities Served by the Water Systems.
