Description:the Agreement Provides Funding Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (occ). the Recipient Will Help Establish and Operate Their Underground Injection Control Class Vi Injection Wells Permit Program. Activities:the Activities to Be Funded Include the Following - Which Are Needed for the Establishment and Operation of a Class Vi Primacy Program: 1) Program Revision Application for Class Vi Primacy. 2) Program Implementation and Permit Review: Here Is a General Overview of What Program Implementation and Permit Review Will Encompass. Oklahoma Is Still Developing Its Program Specific Details and Tasks Have Yet to Be Finalized: a) General Program Procedures and Resources B) Ongoing Staffing C) Pre-permitting Activities D) Permit Application Review and Permit Preparation E) Pre-operations F) During Operations G) Post-injection Period H) Outreach and Communication Specific to Individual Projectssubrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:expected Outputs/deliverables From the Activities to Be Funded Under This Grant Include: I. Completion of Statutory Review and Revision Ii. Promulgation of State Regulations That Meet the Minimum Federal Standards Iii. Development and Submission of Uic Class Vi Program Revision to Epa Iv. Funding Mechanisms Established for Class Vi Program Support V. Increase Uic Staff for Class Vi Program Vi. Update to General Uic Program Procedures to Include Class Vi Wells Vii. Decisions Made on Class Vi Permit Applications Viii. Reviews of Reports Required by Permit and Rule Ix. Inspection of Class Vi Wells X. Submission of Epa Reports Xi. Reviews of Post-injection and Site Closure Materials Xii. Development and Maintenance of Class Vi Database Xiii. Attendance at Class Vi-related Conferences Expected Outcomes From Activities to Be Funded Under This Grant Include: I. Successful Approval of State Primacy Program Revision Ii. Protection of Underground Sources of Drinking Water From Endangerment Iii. Prevention of Potential Human Health and, as Appropriate, Environmental Effects From Uic Class Vi Activity on Communities Iv. Reduction of CO2 Emissions to the Atmosphere the Intended Beneficiaries Include the Residents of the State of Oklahoma.
