Description:this Action Approves Funding in the Amount of $164,000.00 to Miccosukee Corporation to Implement Projects and Activities That Assist Public Water Systems Serving Tribes to Comply With National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (NPDWRS) or Otherwise Further the Health Protection Objectives of the Safe Drinking Water Act. Specifically, the Recipient Will Survey and Design for Construction of a New Administration Building and Laboratory Facility Within the Premises of the Water Treatment Compound. Activities:the Activities Include Planning and Design to Support a) Expanded Office Space to Accommodate the Needs of the Water Operations Staff and Improve the Overall Quality of Drinking Water Service; B) an Up-to-date Laboratory That Adheres to Best Practices in Water Quality Sampling and Testing, Ensuring Compliance With National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Planning Activities Such as Survey and Design of an Administration and Lab Building as Well as Programmatic Activities Such as Quarterly Performance Reports, an Inspection, and a Final Technical Report. the Expected Outcomes Include: Addressing Existing Infrastructure Deficiencies and Ensuring Effective Water Supply to the Community at All Times; Improving Efficiency of Operations at the Water Treatment Plant; Upgrading Laboratory Facility for Comprehensive and Efficient Water Testing; Improving Community Water System Dependability for 181 Tribal Homes and One Treatment Center That Houses Transient Persons and Staff With an Average of 5-9 People Daily; Strengthening Commitment to Water Quality and Community Well-being; Ensuring Compliance With Npdwr. the Intended Beneficiaries Include 181 Tribal Homes on the Miccosukee Tribe of Florida Reservation.
