Description:this Action Approves an Award in the Amount of $1,078,000 to Miccosukee Tribe of Florida Under the Safe Drinking Water Act (sdwa): Section 1452 and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) (PL 117-58). the Purpose of This Agreement Is to Implement Projects and Activities That Assist Public Water Systems Serving Tribes to Comply With National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (NPDWRS) or Otherwise Further the Health Protection Objectives of the Sdwa. Specifically, the Recipient Will Include Construction of a New Administration Building and Laboratory Facility Within the Premises of the Water Treatment Compound and Include a Laboratory That Adheres to Best Practices in Water Quality Sampling and Testing, Ensuring Compliance With Regulatory Standards.activities:the Activities Include Construction of a New Building With Tasks Such as Engineered Design; Architectural Drawings; Project Bidding; Equipment Procurement; Construction of Laboratory and Administration Building, Project Oversight; and Construction Inspections.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include New Building, Quarterly Reports and Final Report. the Expected Outcomes Include Improved Efficiency of Operations at the Water Treatment Plant; Upgraded Laboratory Facility for Comprehensive and Efficient Water Testing; Improve Community Water System Dependability During Emergencies; Compliance With National Primary Drinking Water Regulations and Preserving Local Ecosystems and Protecting Sensitive Areas. the Intended Beneficiaries Include 181 Tribal Homes on Miccosukee Tribe of Florida Reservation.
