This Project Provides Funding to the Quapaw Nation of Oklahoma to Supplement the Remedial Activities by Cleanup of the Tar Creek Superfund Bird Dog Site Which Contains Tar Creek Distal Zone Distal CP004 Package Which Includes CB013, CB014, FT001 and FT008. Also to Conduct Site Characterization Activities at This Hazardous Waste Site, and to Effectively Implement the Statutory Requirement of Cercla 121(F) Which Mandates Substantial and Meaningful State/tribal Involvement. This Funding Enables the Quapaw Tribe to Lead This Superfund Cleanup and to Consult With Epa Before, During, or After Cleanup Activities in Such a Manner Which Protects Human Health and the Environment.
