Description:this Action Approves Funding in the Amount of $131,950 to the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida (mtif). the Purpose of This Grant Is to Build Mtif's Capacity to Administer Environmental Programs and Manage Solid Waste on Indian Lands.activities:the Recipient Will Continue to Identify Tribal Environmental Priorities, Engage in Regulatory Activities That Affect the Tribe, Develop Proficiency in Environmental and Regulatory Permitting, Attend Osha-required Trainings Related to Oil Spill Response, Develop Proficiency for Gis and Trimble Surveying, Plan and Conduct Community Education for Managing Household Waste Including the Development of Education and Outreach Materials, Develop Capacity to Aid in Storage Tank Removal, Assist in Oil Collection Removal From Service Station, and Assist in Bulk Waste and Recycling Implementation.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:summary of Activities and Issues Related to General Grant Administration, Regulatory and Environmental Compliance Assistance, Leveraging Additional Funding, Meetings With Collaborative Agencies, Training Certificates Obtained, Any Other Relevant Documentation. in Addition, Deliverables Will Include Summaries of Outreach and Source Reduction Activities. Outcome Will Include Professional Capacity Development, Increased Ability to Manage Environmental Work, Increased Management Capacity of Tribal Administration, Training Plan for Staff That Reflects the Capacity-building Priorities for the Environmental Program, Environmental Procedure Development, Environmental Training, Environmental Protection, and Community Education.
