Description:this Agreement Provides Funding Under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to Blackfeet Environmental Air Quality. Specifically, the Recipient Will Identify 10 Sites, in Five Disadvantaged Communities, to Install Small Air Quality Sensors to Increase Access to Real-time PM2.5 Data for the Next 5 Years (or Until the Equipment Fails). They Will Purchase, Install, and Operate These New Small Sensors to Make the Data Available to the Public in Real-time. the Purpose of This Award Is to Increase the Number of Sensors Deployed in Low-income and Disadvantaged Communities to Better Monitor Their Air Quality, Identify Communities Experiencing Air Quality Issues Where Data Was Previously Unavailable by Increasing Information About Air Quality in These Previously Unmonitored Areas, and Increasing the Number of Citizens With Access to Local Scale Air Quality Data by Providing This Publicly Available Air Quality Monitoring Data. Activities:the Activities Include: 1. the Purchase, Installation, and Operation of 10 Small Sensors. 2.
