Description:this Grant Agreement Provides Funding Under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to the Cook County Department of Environment and Sustainability (CCDES) to Enhance the Gaseous Monitoring Infrastructure in Cook County, Illinois. Specifically, Ccdes Will Enhance the Network With the Addition of Automated Ozone Transfer Standards (i.e., T700U).ACTIVITIES:THE Activities Include Procurement and Installation of the Ozone Transfer Standards at Sites That Monitor for Ozone.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:in Addition to Timely Submittal of Semi-annual Reports and a Final Report, the Anticipated Deliverables Include the Purchase of 3 T700US That Will Each Be Installed at 3 Sites Within Ccdes's Monitoring Network. the Expected Outcomes Include Improved Quality Control and Consistency Across the State's Monitoring Network, Which Will Result in More Accurate Monitoring of Ozone. the Intended Beneficiaries Include the Environment and Residents of Cook County, Illinois.
