This American Rescue Plan-funded Grant Will Support the Latino Academy of Workforce Development's Administration of Their Bilingual Leadership Academy (bla). Activities:the Academy's Environmental Justice Programming Will Teach Its Participants About Air Quality, the Clean Air Act, and How to Use Air Quality Monitors. Outcomes:the Program Will Position Participants to Engage in Community Decision-making and Empower Them to Help Their Community to Become More Climate-resilient. the Intended Beneficiaries of This Project Are the Citizens of the Southside of Madison and Fitchburg, Wisconsin. the Latino Academy of Workforce Development Will Provide a Subaward to Sustain Dane to Assist With Project Administration. Subrecipient:partnership With Sustain Dane Will Include the Following Roles and Responsibilities: Assistance With Developing Curriculum, Project Administration Logistics, Coordination of Community Environmental Partnerships, Advisory Team, and Grant Reporting Assistance.
