This Agreement Is to an Eligible State Agency to Implement a Program of Voluntary Testing for Lead in Drinking Water at Local Schools and Child Care Centers. Specifically, the Recipient Will Test All Outlets for Consumption in at Least 200 High Priority Targeted Facilities, Provide Lead Testing Results to Parents, Teachers, Facility Employees, and Community Members, Assist Facilities With Implementing Short-term Measures and Develop Long-term Remediation Plans to Reduce the Risk of Lead in Water, Build Expertise and Capacity Statewide to Conduct Testing; and Educate Communities About Lead and the Importance of Testing.
