Description:this Agreement Provides Funding to Ogunquit Sewer District to Implement Its Project to Upgrade the Existing Sludge Dewatering System With a New Sludge Dewatering and Drying System to Replace Aging Equipment and Allow the Facility to Dewater and Dispose of Their Sludge as Directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as Identified in an Approved Technical Correction If One Has Been Approved for This Project.activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include the Execution and Implementation of a Wastewater Infrastructure Improvements Project. Workplan Activities Consist of: a. Demolition of Existing Dewatering Equipment Including Belt Filter Press, Polymer System and Conveyors and Demolition of Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Systems Associated With Demolition of the Existing Dewatering System. B. Installation of a New Dewatering System Including Dewatering Unit(s); Polymer System and Conveyors; Associated Piping Modifications; and Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Improvements Associated With the New Dewatering System. C. Demolition of Existing Dewatering Room Heating and Ventilation and Associated Demolition of Architectural, Electrical and Instrumentation Systems. D. Upgrade of Dewatering Room Heating and Ventilation and Associated Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation Improvements. E. Decontamination Area Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include the Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Will Be Able to Dewater and Dispose of Their Sludge. the WWTF Will Maintain Compliance With Their Mepdes Permit. the Expected Outcomes Include Maintaining Long-term Water Quality in the Atlantic Ocean, Improved Reliability of Wastewater Treatment Systems for Ogunquit Sewer District Over the 20-YEAR Planning Period, Increased Protection of the Natural Environment, Beach, and Marsh and Support Tourism to Ogunquit. the Intended Beneficiaries Include Town of Ogunquit and Portions of York.
