Description:this Agreement Provides Funding to Mechanic Falls Sanitary District to Implement Its Project for Sewer Replacement in the Clifford Street Neighborhood to Remove a Source of Inflow and Infiltration, as Well as Replacing the Treatment Plant Influent Pumping Station to Increase Capacity Into the Plant as Directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as Identified in an Approved Technical Correction If One Has Been Approved for This Project.activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include the Execution and Implementation of a Wastewater Infrastructure Improvements Project. Workplan Activities Consist of: Replacing the Leaking Sewers on Clifford, First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Streets, and Rerouting Some Services to Second Street. Also, the Replacement of the Influent Pump Station.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Improvement in the Effectiveness of the Sewage Collection System and Decrease the Amount of Untreated Wastewater Released to the Environment. the Expected Outcomes Include Direct Measurement of the Reduction in Untreated Sewage Overflow and the Elimination of a Dangerous Access Point in the Influent Pump Station That Operators Need to Use on a Regular Basis. the Intended Beneficiaries Include Mechanic Falls and the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Community.
