Description:this Agreement Provides Funding to the Corinna Sewer District to Implement Its Project to Improve Wastewater Infrastructure as Directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as Identified in an Approved Technical Correction If One Has Been Approved for This Project. Activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include the Execution and Implementation of a Wastewater Infrastructure Improvements Project. Workplan Activities Consist Primarily of the Removal of Sludge Accumulation in Two Treatment and One Storage Lagoon at the Wastewater Treatment Facility in Corinna, Maine. Project Activities to Support This Goal Include Mobilization, Chemical Addition, Sludge Dewatering, Removal, Disposal, and Demobilization. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Three Rehabilitated Treatment Lagoons, With Accumulated Sludge Removed Such That the Treatment Facility Can Continue Producing High Quality Effluent. the Expected Outcomes Include Increased Quality of the Treatment Facility's Effluent, (a Reduction in Total Suspended Solids, PH, and Potential for Algal Blooms), Continued Compliance With the Facility's Waste Discharge License, and Continued Protection of Public Health. the Intended Beneficiaries Include Downstream Users of the Ground and Surface Water to Which the Treatment Facility Releases Its Effluent, the Residents of Corinna Who Use the Treatment Facility, and the Public Health That Is Protected by Compliance With the Facility's Discharge License.
