Description:the Purpose of This Cooperative Agreement Is to Provide Funding to Northeast Resource Recovery Association to Conduct Their 'increasing Construction and Demolitiion (CANDD) Diversion in Coouml;s County, New Hampshire Project. Activities:these Funds Will Be Used to: 1. Convene Three Candd Summit Roundtables for Municipal Solid Waste Facility Operators to Share Best Practices to Increase Candd Diversion and Reduce Costs. 2. Conduct a Pilot Program in Lancaster, New Hampshire to Demonstrate Techniques to Increase Candd Diversion and Reduce Costs. 3. Provide Hands-on Technical Assistance for Three Municipal Solid Waste Facilities to Increase Candd Diversion.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:expected Deliverables and Outcomes From the Candd Diversion Project Include: (1) an Increase by Weight of Candd Being Diverted From Landfills (2) a Reduction in Pounds of Greenhouse Gas ('GHG') Emissions From Landfilling Candd ; (3) a Reduction of Candd Management Costs to Paritcipating Municipalites; and (4) Improved Access to Information and Tools to Increase Candd Diversion for Municipalities . Direct Beneficiaries of These Activities Are the Residents of Target Communities Who Will Have a Decreased Risk of Adverse Health Effects.
