Budget/Appropriations

Proposed appropriations for the following: New Economy Business Park for storm water, sanitary sewer and water systems; Friendship Ridge Nursing Home facilities upgrades and equipment; Community College of Beaver County's (CCBC) Control Tower Simulator and Emergency Services Center and to establish a program to train persons to become Machinists.; Beaver County Airport to purchase equipment and technology upgrades; The Prevention Network to expand the BE SAFE Program (Beaver Endorses Safety and Family Education); Beaver County Corporation for Economic Development to construct a water and sewer system for Redevelopment of a Brownfield in Bridgewater; Emergency Services Center of Beaver County to replace the ESCs radio systems, communications towers, and to purchase needed hardware, software and Mobile Data Terminals to provide communications for law enforcement, fire departments and emergency services; The Freedom Road Upgrade and/or Reprogramming, including to reprogram monies from the Aliquippa-Ambridge bridge project - item numbered 3, section 1103 of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991; Internet Predators Program previously established for Beaver County; Bradys Run Lake dredging feasibility study; Aliquippa Industrial Park for the ongoing redevelopment of the former LTV Steel site for industrial re-use; Big Beaver Borough to finance water and sewer lines and utility relocations; Hopewell Business and Industrial Park to finance water and sewer lines and utility relocations in Hopewell Township;
