SRM supports agency budgets that allow for proactive range management practices to be implemented at the state level. SRM supports agency budgets that allow for employee travel to professional society meetings and trainingsSRM supports the USDA-APHIS/Wildlife Services (WS) program and supports sufficient funding for this critical program and is in opposition to any effort to restrict or eliminate WS funding; SRM supports funding of this program within the FY 2014 Appropriations process. SRM supports Conservation Technical Assistance within House Agriculture Appropriations Bill FY 2014 as it allows for active and best management practices on nation's rangelands. SRM opposes cuts within President's FY 2014 Budget to both the BLM and USFS. 15% cut to Range Budget within BLM and 36% cut to Range Budget within USFS both hamper ongoing backlogs of NEPA and subsequent active management of rangelands.
