Implementation of 2016 reforms to Toxic Substances Control Act (no bils). BASF supports regulatory processes that are science-based, transparent, and stable, as well as increased EPA funding and staffing and increased regulatory efficiency so that safe, sustainable chemistries can reach the market in a timely manner.

Energy/Nuclear

Energy legislation, including energy efficiency provisions (S.2118 - Clean Energy for America Act, S.1298 - Clean Energy for America Act and S.2377 - Energy Infrastructure Act). BASF supports provisions in energy legislation requiring improvements in building codes and incentives for green building and building efficiencies, as well as energy efficiency tax incentives (45L, 179D, 45Q). BASF supports the generation and transmission of clean energy (no specific legislation).
