We lobbied Members of Congress to ask the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) to expedite the public release of the Household Goods Consumer Protection Working Group's recommendations to DOT, as mandated by Section 5503 of the FAST Act of 2015, P.L. 114-94).

Homeland Security

We have lobbied Members of Congress in support of S.998/H.R. 4403, the Moving Americans Privacy Protection Act. The bill seeks to direct US Customs and Border Protection to scrub consumers' personal information (social security number, passport number) before it is sold to third-party data brokers, as is the current practice for manifest information collected on international moves.
