Advocating for expanded funding opportunities in Medicare, Medicaid and the private and public mental health systems to ensure individuals with behavioral health illnesses get the care they need. Efforts in both chambers to advance policies intended to address the opioid crisis, including reauthorization of the SUPPORT Act. Introduction and advancement of 2993, the Ensuring Excellence in Mental Health Act, as well as a House companion that is in development.
