Asked Rep. Reschenthaler's office to oppose H.R.4521, America COMPETES Act- Amendment #64 (Huffman), which would require NASS to publish data on COVID-19 on mink farms in the Rules Committee. Asked for co-sponsors for H.R.8069, The Reducing Farm Input Costs and Barriers to Domestic Production Act to help reduce inflation by reversing various regulatory barriers to domestic agriculture production Informed Senate offices of discussion of S.4030, Cattle Price Discovery and Transparency Act, and H.R.7606/S.3870, Meat and Poultry Special Investigator Act could be added into the NDAA. Asked to oppose both bills if this does happen or any movement on either bills. Informed Rep. Meuser's office that AFBF does not have a position yet on the Organic Livestock and Poultry Standards rule, but is planning on submitting comments.

Asked for co-sponsors on H.R.9063, the Protect Farmers from the SEC Act, which would prohibit the SEC from requiring agricultural producers to report Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions. Lobbied to gain opposition to the proposed rule by the SEC, The Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors.
