Advocated for continued predictable funds for the NIH, NSF, BRAIN Initiative and VA medical and prosthetic research programs and asked Congress not to rely on continuing resolutions. Advocated for the RISE Act - in ensure funding to restart and reopen biomedical research labs that were impacted but the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns. Additionally, provided input to congressional offices on the policy development process of ARPA-H.
