Initiatives to increase, improve and facilitate organ donation and transplantation. S. 377 and H.R. 1255, the "Living Donor Protection Act," to prohibit discrimination in the issuing, pricing, and benefits level of life, disability or long-term care insurance for living organ donors. H.R. 7506, "The New Era of Preventing End Stage Renal Disease Act." Activities to address COVID-19 impact and needs of kidney patients and caregivers, including supply change disruptions; prioritization for access to vaccination for dialysis patients and kidney transplant recipients; and, priority access to specific COVID-19 prescriptions.
