Working with Senate and House offices to support language in the Amtrak section of the surface transportation reauthorization that would restore the favorable Amtrak policies towards private cars and charter trains that existed at the start of 2018. Work with those House & Senate offices to support report language on the FY 2021 Transportation/Housing Appropriations Bill that would require Amtrak to relax its new charter train requirements, namely, trips must be repetitive in nature and remain only on the regular Amtrak route structure. Generally, support Amtrak and its national route structure.
