Civil society participation and inclusion of non-governmental stakeholders in the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) that the US will host in December 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia. The UNCAC Coalition is jointly organizing a "civil society forum" in collaboration with the U.S. State Department and UNODC in Atlanta the day before the COSP10 starts. The UNCAC Coalition also organized a round-table event and several briefings on CoSP10 for U.S. civil society and government stakeholders, including from the State Department. We engaged with the State Department on policy priorities for COSP10 (resolutions, plenary statements, etc.) and are also organizing jointly with the U.S. a side event on civic space in anti-corruption efforts globally.
