Advocate for FY 2021 appropriations of of all programs related to aging and disability programs. Within the stimulus/Covid-19 relief legislation, advocate for the following policies to be included: Greater flexibility with Electronic Visit Verification policy in any upcoming Cures Act modification; Further increase the Medicaid Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) to a total of 12%; Provide targeted support to assist states enhance and sustain their home and community-based services (HCBS) infrastructure; Allow states to provide Medicaid retainer payments to additional provider categories and for extended periods of time as warranted by the emergency; Provide additional supports to ensure that older adults and people with disabilities have access to food; Delay the 21st Century Cures Acts Electronic Visit Verification penalties.
