Federal education efforts have focused on the importance of transparency and the disclosure of pricing and terms in small business financing and advocacy has focused on expansion of truth in lending type protections to small businesses seeking financing. Specifically advancing HR 7889 Small Business Lending Disclosure and Broker Regulations Act of 2020. In addition, RBLC has advocated for the implementation of Section 1071 of the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act).
