H.R.1158 - Elimination of Future Technology Delays Act of 2023. H.R.1 - Lower Energy Costs Act (includes H.R.1158). Implementation of 2016 reforms to Toxic Substances Control Act [P.L.94-469]. BASF supports regulatory processes that are science-based, transparent, and stable, as well as increased EPA funding and staffing and increased regulatory efficiency so that safe, sustainable chemistries can reach the market in a timely manner. Draft Senate PFAS legislation (no bill number). BASF supports both a PFAS definition and a regulatory approach to these chemistries that is science-based and takes essential uses into account.

BASF supports predictable climate protection policies that address all emitting economic sectors, ensure economically feasible and technologically reasonable reduction targets, and encourage the development of technology solutions to achieve further emission reductions. Energy efficiency (no bills). BASF also supports requiring improvements in building codes and incentives for green building and building efficiencies.
