Seeking funding in the FY10 DHS Appropriations Bill, Office of Grants and Training, for National Defense Preparedness Consortium to expand program and increase number of first responders trained; Seek funding through DOD Appropriations Bill, Office of Naval Research, for the Magdalena Ridge Observatory, MRO for the development and construction of optical instrumentation and adaptive optics systems for MRO telescope. FY10 funding will complete this project; Seeking funding through DOD Appropriations Bill, Joint Forces Command, to establish Playas Training and Research Center as a Joint Training Center for Natl. Guard and Army Natl Guard; Seek funding through DOD Appropriations Bill, Department of the Army, for CACTUS Computational Analysis of Cyber-Terrorism; Seek funding through DOD Appropriation Bill, Joint Forces Command, for Mobile Communications, Command and Control (MC3) to complete this project for construction of the second mobile unit; Seeking funding through the DOD Appropriation Bill through the Department of the Army for Modeling and Simulation Validation Experiments for Energetic Materials. This project will provide needed data necessary to determine the validity of these computational techniques; Seeking funding through DOD, Department of the Army for Technical Evaluation and Feasibility Study for the Concept of Accelerator Based Neutron Production. This appropriation will complete funding requirements for this study effort; To secure funding for ILEA, International Law Enforcement Academy to administer the program for international law enforcement personnel from foreign countries. This funding is through the Foreign Operations Appropriation Bill; To secure funding for Energy Surety Research Center at Playas as part of the Department of Energy Electric Transmission and distribution and Energy Assurance program. This funding is sought in the Energy and Water Appropriation Bill; Seeking funding through DOE Appropriations for Playas Training & Research Center for energy research projects including Grid Reliability and Distributed Renewable Energy Research projects in the DOE account for Electricity and Energy Security and Assurance programs; Seeking funding in DHS for Training and Awareness for Active Response and Mitigation of Improvised Explosive Devices. This funding would be in DHS, Office of Bombing Prevention.
