Educate covered officials on the negative effects to healthcare providers from CMS's proposed rule on the Medicaid Fiscal Accountability Regulation. Work on the next Covid-19 relief legislation to include the following: Allow for accelerated payments (or a portion) to be forgiven, push back payment timeline and reduce interest rate to 2%; Extend emergency Medicare telehealth waiver allowing payment for tele-visits with patients in their home permanently; and Create a reinsurance program for payers participating in the small and individual market that covers COVID-19 services at the Medicare rate, less add-on payment.
