Lobby in support H.R.4245 - To exempt exportation of certain echinoderms and mollusks from licensing requirements under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended, which would exempt sea urchins, sea cucumbers, squid, octopus, and cuttlefish designated as food from licensing requirements and would require the US Fish and Wildlife Service to amend regulations to clarify that those sea urchins, sea cucumbers, squid, octopus, and cuttlefish are exempt from the export permission requirements under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. Lobby in support of S.Amdt.5185 to H.R.4245, which would amend 50 C.F.R. Section 14.92 to establish expedited procedures relating to the exportation of sea urchins and sea cucumbers under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 to no later than 180 days after the bill is enacted.
