In support of the "Improve and Enhance the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Act" (S.492, H.R. 1177) to increase the tax credit for hiring and retaining specific communities of job seekers. In support of extension of WOTC past its current expiration date of 12/31/25.

In support of the Essential Workers for Economic Advancement Act (H.R. 5494) which creates a non-immigrant visa program for high demand, short-supply industries in metropolitan areas facing a critical labor shortage. Opposed to language in the "One Big Beautiful Bill" which requires asylum seekers, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) workers and those under Parole Programs to renew their Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) every six months as opposed to the current 5-year timeline (1-2 years for TPS and parole workers) In support of increasing legal pathways to citizenship for workers in the United States. In support of the current 540-day period in which an individual working in the U.S. can work while waiting for their work permit reauthorization to be completed. Against a reduction in timeframes for work permits for those in the U.S. under the parole program, temporary protected status or asylum seekers.
