- Safer Detention Act (S. 1248), legislation to expand elderly home confinement and compassionate release eligibility within the Bureau of Prisons - EQUAL Act (S. 524), a bill to eliminate the sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine - HALT Fentanyl Act (HR 467)- bill places fentanyl-related substances as a class into schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act - TEST Act (S. 1950) - extend the temporary class-wide scheduling for two years during which time the Department of Justice will be required to conduct a scientific and medical evaluation of the fentanyl-related substances it has encountered to date but not yet tested, also eases research requirements so that the science and medical communities can study and develop treatments for fentanyl-related substances. - PROTECT Act (S. 353) - a bill that would make the sentencing guidelines mandatory for crimes involving child abuse materials - Stop CSAM Act (S. 1199)- a bill that would potentially lengthen sentences and expand criminal liability for crimes involving child sexual abuse materials - Appropriations advocacy to rescind funding for a proposed federal prison in eastern Kentucky and fully fund the federal defenders (no specific bill)
