-Lobbied for patient focused approach to the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act's provisions for an out of pocket cap of $2000 for Medicare beneficiaries and the smoothing of costs for that population -Responded to the Agency's proposed guidance on the direct negotiation provision of the Inflation Reduction Act, advocating for them to avoid using discriminatory metrics like QALYs during the price setting process and asking them to ensure patients were included in those discussions -Responded to an HCPM guidance for implementation of the Part D provisions in the inflation reduction act advocating for patients to have continued access to therapies and for the program to monitor any impacts of direct negotiation on access, as well as recommending best practices for smoothing implementation -Lobbied Congress to have Medicare to create a complimentary measure for their current long-stay antipsychotic measure -Support S. 1544, which directs Medicare to expand access to PET radiopharmaceuticals -Lobbying on Medicare's Alzheimer's disease national coverage determination
