In support of local YWCA requests for Congressionally Directed Spending projects In support of strengthening the charitable giving incentive In support of stimulus funding for small business and nonprofit organizations to address child care, domestic violence, sexual assault, housing and homelessness, and other human services; In support of expanding the long-term availability of quality child care and helping providers maintain and strengthen their workforce In support of paid family, medical, and safe leave; In support of expanding access to home care; In support of federal funding for child care and gender-based violence programs administered by HHS, HUD, and DOJ, particularly the Violence Against Women Act and the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act, Transitional Housing Assistance Grants for Victims, Continuum of Care, Emergency Solutions Grant Program, and the Child Care Development Block Grant. In support of trauma-informed policies that work with and support children and youth; In support of enabling a sustainable workforce environment to meet the needs of children and prevent unaddressed trauma In support of federal funding that address dating violence and stalking In support of improving affordability and addressing health inequities disproportionately affecting communities of color.
