In support of the Senate trade chapter in the Senate USICA legislation: a 10-year reauthorization of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP)program, including additional criteria on labor, the environment and human rights and draft legislation to make certain outdoor footwear products eligible for GSP. In opposition to the China 301 tariffs and support for their immediate removal and establishment of a new exclusion process. In support of relief for outdoor companies dealing with rising shipping costs. In support of efforts to level the playing field for U.S. based Foreign Trade Zones and allow them to ship products under the $800 de minims threshold direct to consumer without paying import duties.
