Encourage efforts by the U.S. government to secure approval from the European Union (EU) for the use of the fumigant Sulfuryl Fluoride (SF) on oak logs treated for export from the United States, and begin encouraging U.S. government approval by the EU for SF use on exports of stave logs and lumber. Support efforts to obtain approval of a Special Local Need registration for the use of SF in Georgia on wood chips exported from the U.S. to the EU.
