--Lobbied to strengthen commercial item procurement for DoD acquisition policy in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), H.R. 1735 and S. 1376 (P.L. 114-92). --Lobbied against the proposed DFAR's rule "Industry Price Reasonableness for Commercial Items" --Lobbied for language and full funding in the FY 17 NDAA and Defense Appropriations bills for: (1) Handheld Manpack Small Form Fit (HMS) acquisition strategy for continued LRIP extention and FRP; (2) The Air Force's F-35 to include funding for the Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS); (3) The Navy's Tactical Combat Training System (TCTs) to use a Common Range Integrated Instruction System (CRIIS) as a solution; (4) The Navy's CH-53K program; (5) Increase funding for the Defense Production Act Title III; (6) The Army's UH-60M procurement accounts to increase funding and Authorization for the UH-60M for the Active Army and ARNG. --Lobbied for inclusion of commercial item purchasing policies and intellectual property rights in the FY17 NDAA.
