Outreach was solely focused on the Frank Harrison, Elizabeth Peratrovich, and Miguel Trujillo Native American Voting Rights Act of 2021 (NAVRA). NAVRA was previously introduced in the 116th Congress and my work has been collaborating with congress to reintroduce NAVRA in this congress and to support passage of the bill. NAVRA would provide resources to Indian Tribes and local governments to help further Native voting objectives; NAVRA would work to secure uniformity of voting processes on Indian lands, including providing for on-reservation voter registration, early voting, and ballot drop boxes; and NAVRA would ensure that other issues challenges facing Native voters on Indian lands are addressed as well.
