Support passage of House and Senate: H.R. 3371, Wounded Knee Massacre Memorial and Sacred Site Act in the House; and Senate Companion Bill, S. 2088; Indian Health Service: Planning Discussion CRST Health and Wellness Center funded by 3rd Party Billing or ISDEAA Section 105(L); advocating for $30 million for the BIA Buy Back Program and $400 million for reservation fee land purchases in the FY 24 Interior Appropriations bill; supporting congressional authorization for Indian tribes to recover our lands in Native Nation title with protection against alienation, preservation of Indian Self-Determination and Self-Government. This will cut back BIA red tape and foster economic development; securing funding from the Agriculture FY24 Appropriations bill for Buffalo processing center.
