Activities to facilitate organ donation and transplantation, including the Honor our Living Donors Act (H.R. 628, S. 957) to modify criteria to determine eligibility to reimburse individuals under the Living Organ Donation Reimbursement Program, and the Living Donor Protection Act (S.1552) to prohibit discrimination in life, disability and long-term health coverage policies. Comments on proposed "Revisions to Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Policies to Align with Federal Regulatory Updates," from the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Networks (OPTN) Disease Transmission Advisory Committee. Implementation of P.L. 118-14, "Securing the U.S. Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network Act." Implementation of the Advancing American Kidney Health Initiative. Support for telemedicine and telehealth access. General activities in support of access to affordable, accessible health care.
